Job DescriptionTeam LeaderResponsibilities and Roles could
include the following:Safety is a PriorityAid and assist to include
ALL members of team and Group Lead.Step in when neededPromote team
concept and engagementCommunicate effectively (giving and receiving
information) to the team as well as between shiftsBe a good
listenerSupport Standardized Work to include
revisions/improvementsSupport daily operationsContinuous
Improvement to include but not limited to Safety/Cost
Savings/Quality/Work ProcessesEnsure all team members are fully
aware of all safety aspects of the task.Ensure all team members
have what they need to do perform their job.Ensure Standardized
Work/SIS'S are followedUse Standardized Work to coach and improve
Team Member performanceOperates within the Leadec's Values
(Professionalism, Respect for Individual, Colleagueship, Openness,
Reliability and Integrity) to promote an overall positive
culture.Train team members who are newly assigned work assignments
helping them attain safety, quality and productivity
standards.Audit Standardized Work / SIS'SInitiate Problem Solving
Activities for the TeamReplace missing team membersImprove work
processesEncourage improvement ideas and help implement ideasLiaise
with Support Functions to solve problems root causeObtain data and
lead Team problem solving activitiesCoordinate work within the Team
areaWork with Group Leader to rotate team members between
workstations and/or work assignments ensure proper cross training
levels are kept.Lead team meetings as scheduledUpdate indicators
and Team BoardQualifications:Safety, quality, productivity and team
orientedStrong leadershipAble to communicate effectively and
accurately with all levels of management and co-workers in spoken
and written language.Strong ability to organize while being
sensitive to time constraints and resource availabilityAble to take

distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus
