Description: Project manager is responsible for delivering IT
projects to schedule, budget and quality. The role requires mastery
of the technical knowledge of project management inter-related
process stages i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control
and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time,
issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management.
Project manager must have excellent stakeholder relationship
management skills to successfully lead and manage the project team
and project stakeholders, and have expertise recognized and
requested by customers. Technical Project Manager Required
Experience: 5 years of project management experience, preferably in
IT Applications, Infrastructure, or enterprise software
deployments. Experience delivering projects in large corporate IT
or professional services environments. Strong technical
understanding of enterprise content management and supply chain
technologies. Exposure to or working knowledge of IBM CMOD and/or
IBM Sterling PEM is preferred. Proven success in managing
multi-disciplinary teams and driving initiatives involving
third-party vendors and SaaS/on-prem hybrid solutions. Solid
understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Familiarity with full SDLC and IT operations best practices.
Technical Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Lead technical
project delivery across initiatives involving products like IBM
CMOD and IBM Sterling PEM, etc. Apply best-in-class project
management practices across all phases: initiation, planning,
execution, monitoring/control, and closure. Manage scope, cost,
time, quality, resource allocation, risk, issues, communications,
and stakeholder expectations. Develop and maintain project
charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers; drive
accountability across cross-functional teams. Collaborate with
technical architects, business analysts, IBM consultants, and
vendor partners to ensure successful solution delivery. Ensure
timely status reporting, clear communication, and stakeholder
alignment at all organizational levels. Identify project
interdependencies and proactively manage critical paths. Drive
quality assurance through standardized governance, processes, and
documentation. Translate complex technical requirements into
actionable plans aligned to business objectives. Contribute to
business case development, vendor coordination, and
post-implementation benefit realization. Technical Project Manager
Duties: Monitors and manages project baseline to ensure activities
are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule ??? manages
variances Identifies potential points of contention for missed
deliverables; creates and implements strategy to mitigate
shortfalls in timeline and budget Analytical skills and
problem-solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a
project simultaneously Demonstrate business analytics to manage and
meet sponsor and customer needs Technical Project Manager Preferred
Skills: Prior hands-on involvement or coordination experience with
IBM CMOD (archiving, document management) or IBM Sterling PEM
(partner onboarding, process orchestration). Knowledge of financial
systems or B2B integration domains is a plus. Strong
problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. Exceptional
communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficient in MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar
