In this role, you will combine your expertise in Java, J2EE technologies, and Spring Boot programming to enhance and support life insurance applications. As a lead developer, you’ll play a key part in designing and building next-generation enterprise software solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to meet their needs. What You’ll Do: Lead the Design and Development: Participate in the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Sapiens Life Insurance software, ensuring it aligns with both business requirements and technical specifications. Analyze & Transform Business Requirements: Work closely with business analysts to understand and transform business requirements into detailed design specifications at both the system and programming levels. Effort Estimation & Timeline Management: Estimate the effort and timelines required for project changes, ensuring they are realistic and achievable. J2EE Development & Testing: Perform hands-on development and testing in a J2EE platform to implement the necessary changes and enhancements. Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-implementation support, including the analysis and resolution of any production issues, ensuring seamless operations. Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine processes and methodologies, bringing in innovative solutions that drive efficiency and scalability. Key Qualifications: Experience in Life Insurance Solutions: Minimum 3-5 years of technical development experience with Sapiens Life Insurance products. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with J2EE technologies, including Spring Boot, JSP, Velocity, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, AJAX, and Java 6. Database & OOPs Concepts: Strong familiarity with database design and optimization along with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Microservices & Kubernetes (Advantage): Exposure to microservices architecture, event-driven programming, and Kubernetes is a plus. Analytical Skills: Good conceptual, analytical, and mathematical problem-solving skills. Self-Starter & Team Player: You are a motivated learner with a passion for technology and innovation. You’re a team player who thrives in collaborative environments and is eager to take on new challenges. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with great verbal and written communication skills. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in any stream with 5 years of relevant industry experience. Must-Have: Proven Technical Development experience with Sapiens Life Insurance products.
