Job Description:

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a dedicated Route Sales Support Driver to join our dynamic team, delivering and managing uniform and facility service products to various businesses. This role not only focuses on driving and delivery but also emphasizes strong customer interaction and sales support. As a pivotal part of our logistics team, you will ensure consistent and professional delivery of our high-quality products, directly contributing to the satisfaction and retention of our customers. Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various client sites. Load and unload company products efficiently while maintaining UniFirst's standards of safety and professionalism. Build positive relationships with customers during deliveries, addressing their inquiries and concerns, and providing them with detailed product information. Collect and process payment transactions following company protocols. Manage sales inventory, and maintain accurate delivery logs and records. Adhere to scheduled routes and timetables diligently. Assist in setting up new accounts, including the placement of uniforms, mats, mops, and other facility service products. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency and safe functionality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic math and financial handling skills. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy items. Competency in driving commercial vehicles and handling route management software. Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
