Transco Lines, Inc., a leader in transportation solutions, is seeking a qualified Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This position is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to safety, reliability, and timely delivery services across the nation. As part of our family, you will operate with state-of-the-art equipment and support systems designed to maximize efficiency and enhance your driving experience. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials over long distances. Plan routes using GPS or other navigation tools as needed to meet delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and mechanical items, reporting any issues. Maintain communication with dispatch to receive delivery instructions or notice of changes. Manage logs of work/rest periods, vehicle status, and fuel purchases as per federal and state regulations. Follow accident procedures, manage cargo security, and ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Provide excellent customer service during delivery, maintaining professionalism at all times. Proven ability to operate a Class A tractor-trailer. Strong navigation and route management skills. Effective communication, both oral and written. Good physical health and stamina. Ability to manage time effectively for long hauls. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Endorsement for Hazardous Materials (HazMat) and Tanker (N or X endorsement) may be required or advantageous.
