FABRICATOR Location: MUSCLE SHOALS/LEIGHTON, AL We are looking for
a skilled Maintenance Mechanic / Fabricator to join our industrial
team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can
repair equipment, modify production systems, and build or weld
metal structures that support daily operations. Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including pumps,
compressors, conveyors, and air systems. Fabricate and weld custom
metal structures, frames, and brackets as needed to improve
workflow and safety. Modify and improve production lines, such as
the ingot conveyor system and other mechanical setups. Work with
the existing Steiner system and related industrial components to
ensure smooth operation. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform
preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. Collaborate with the
electrical and production teams to develop system improvements.
Requirements: Strong experience in Ability to read and understand
mechanical drawings and blueprints. Hands-on experience working
with industrial systems , compressors, and pumps. Familiarity with
basic tools, hydraulic systems, and air systems. Problem-solving
attitude and willingness to take initiative. Preferred Experience:
Previous work in foundry, recycling, or manufacturing environments.
Experience modifying production lines or equipment layout. PAY RATE
Starting at $24/HR Based on Experience Position is Full time: 1st
SHIFT TIME- 6AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday or 2nd SHIFT TIME: 2PM-10PM
