Overview of Position
The Data Center Director will oversee all aspects of Data Center
and building operations across 2 core Data Centers including, 24x7
staffing, facility infrastructure testing and preventive
maintenance, service delivery, quality assurance, adherence to
corporate standards and processes, oversight of all hardware assets
within the Data Center (internal and customer assets), and
continuous improvement to operations within the Data Center. In
addition this include being responsible for smaller remote
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Proactively assess Data center facility requirements.
Coordinate and oversee regular testing and preventive
maintenance of critical facilities infrastructure at 2 core Data
Centers as well as multiple critical office locations.
Solid understanding of critical facilities infrastructure
(mechanical, electrical, life safety, security, etc.)
coordinate logistics or hardware shipments to various locations
while keeping accurate inventory.
Plan and implement effective backup & recovery, business
placement, service space requirements, power distribution,
network cabling, etc.)
Maintain staff schedule to meet appropriate shift coverage.
Ensure data assets and related processes are in compliance with
applicable regulations and industry standards
Task manage resources for complex or high-profile
Oversee and drive projects to on-time completion. Ability to
manage multiple teams, some remote locations.
What are the requirements needed for this position? ??
Must be physically based at our Nashville Facilities
Minimum 10 years of experience with construction and/or
operations of mission critical facilities.
Experience leading small teams and sub-contractors.
Experience to educate and influence cross-functional teams
Requires ability to manage multiple projects at once including
coordinating work efforts of internal and external resources as
Must have expertise with providing these functions with minimal
Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate new
concepts and drive process improvements
Proficient in managing vendor relationships and
Be able to work on extremely complex problems where analysis of
situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance
Proven ability to work across multiple

Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or commensurate
