First Farmers and Merchants Bank is seeking a Level 3 Platform Administrator to join our team in Columbia. This position involves assisting with the administration, configuration, and training team members on supported platforms. The position will provide end user support to bank team members, work with vendor support and IT to install, configure, and troubleshoot platforms. Successful applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.

    Role:

    Has overall knowledge and responsibility for the bank's platform applications. Serves as a resource in platform development to help identify potential new products, enhance current products, identify new sources of income, and reduce expenses, thus allowing other departments to focus on their primary responsibilities.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Provide primary support for the company's platform applications which includes planning, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting.

    Participates in short and long-range planning for the department to select and utilize appropriate platform applications to meet the evolving needs of the company and its customers.

    Responds to needs and questions of platform users concerning their access to various platforms and the operation of various platforms; communicates with other departments to report and resolve platform problems and build and test new products; consults with other departments to report upgrades to the platforms; consults with other departments on compliance with the processes of the various platforms.

    Attends core provider and other vendor conferences and workshops

    Researches and evaluates new platform applications; tests and upgrades platform applications.

    Performance Measurements:

    1.

    To comply with the letter and with the spirit of the bank's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

    To assure prompt response to and recovery from platform applications.

    To keep the bank's platform applications current; to test and update platform applications as new versions are released, to comply with each department's processes for each of the platforms.

    4.

    To accomplish all assigned projects in an effective and professional manner, keeping management and departments informed of all problematic areas.

    5.

    To troubleshoot platform application problems in a timely manner.

    6.

    To acquire and maintain a working of knowledge of regulations and bank procedures. To comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.

    To develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements.

    8.

    To develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with coworkers.

    9.

    To maintain a professional work environment at all times.

    10.

    To maintain the confidentiality of customer and any other sensitive information.

    11.

    To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience

    Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

    Education

    1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program

    Interpersonal Skills

    Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

    Other Skills

    Knowledge of installation/support for platform applications.
    Technical planning, project management, and supervisory skills.
    Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
    Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other platform administration professionals as well as non technical users.
    Working Knowledge of CIS,FIS and Microsoft
    Working Knowledge of deposit and loan products.

    Physical Requirements

    The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to interact with associates and access office machinery and file cabinets. The person in the position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and printer.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as calculators, computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines.
