dynamic self-starter on our awesome production team!The primary
function of Forklift Driver / Material Handler is to provide
support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping
and/or receiving products. This ambassador will be responsible for
operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient
logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure
optimal operation for the business. In addition, this position will
work closely with manufacturing in order to achieve defined
departmental goals of productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery,
6s, and safety. Ambassadors in this position will be expected to
develop and display knowledge, skills, and willingness to learn and
perform variety of tasks, flex to work needs, drive safely,
maintain ongoing positive and collaborative work behaviors, and
reliably work all scheduled hours.HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions,
execution of tasks and interactions with others.Assists with
loading and unloading product from warehouse racks, per
production/distribution center requirements, to ensure meeting of
production goals.Timely replenishment for production support is
expected to ensure ZERO impact to production flow and our
customers.Operate forklift or other hand trucksUse wireless RF
scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory. Keep updated
records of inventory and activity logs.Performs cycle counts as
required.Pick, wrap, and stages orders to be shipped.Inspect and
perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling
equipment.Identify safety hazards in the work place.Consolidates
partial pallets for incoming goods. Locate and move stock of
products to pallets or bins for storage or shipments.Identify
damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.Moves and
manipulates products/material weighing up to 50 pounds, involving
frequent twisting, lifting, turning, and bending. Continuously
pulls, pushes, and tugs materials.Shares appropriate information
with team leader, supervisor, and/or maintenance personnel of any
mechanical problems and/or shortages that would interfere with
production.Performs and cross trains on other job functions as
directed; may rotate through various tasks in work area.Assures and
maintains safety and cleanliness of work area by performing
housekeeping duties.Develops skills to problem solve effectively
with others.May learn to assist with completion of appropriate

High school diploma or equivalent required.2-4 weeks training time
required for most tasks.Good verbal communication skills.Previous
experience operating powered forklifts preferred. Knowledge of
various material-handling equipment as asset.Possess a high regard
for safety in the workplace.Ability to use computer and scanning
equipment.Ability to read and understand job aids and other
instructional material printed in English preferred.Ability to
lift/move product weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100
pounds with assistance.Ability to work within team environment
required.Ability to help drive culture change through support of
