As an AR Specialist, you will perform a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable and reporting. An ideal candidate should be familiar with all standard billing accounting procedures and experience in working within a team to produce accurate billing and achieve financial goals.Key Responsibilities for the PositionPrepare accurate invoices for multiple customers daily, maintain invoicing records.Deliver invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain physical and electronic files in an organized manner.Maintain excellent relationships with Clients and follows up on inquiries or corrections with a sense of urgency.Follow up for payment of invoices as needed.Anticipate customer (internal and external) needs and fosters excellent customer service.Update logs and reports accurately.Assist with the accomplishment of the accounting and organizational mission by completing required tasks timely and accurately.Perform required tasks during month end closing process and audits.Work with Site Management and to produce stakeholder reports, presentations, and forecasts.Partner with Customer Service Team to achieve organizational goal of Best-in-Class Service.Perform other administrative duties as needed including accounts payable, scheduling, and data entry.PM22POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Requirements and qualifications3 years of experience in Accounts Receivables / Billing preferred.Experience in the Waste industry preferred but not required.Regular attendance at the worksite is required.Understanding of standard billing processing and proceduresTechnology - proficient using PC, electronic file management and Microsoft products (Outlook, SharePoint, Word), Adobe and Great Plains experience a plusExcel skills - BasicCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary.Team player with service-oriented attitudeGood time-management with ability to focus and complete tasks.Professional demeanor with great interpersonal and communication skillsSHIFT: -not applicable-RAIL, WASTE, MARINE, CORPORATE:POSITION:EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-ExemptOPEN DATE: 2/16/2023LOCATION: TN, Mount PleasantABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: VLS Environmental Services is the recognized industry leader in providing Environmental Solutions to our Industrial and Manufacturing clients.
