- Full-time Ingram Content Group (ICG)is hiring for a Senior
Systems Engineer (Infrastructure/Networking)to join our
Infrastructure Services team in our LaVergne, TN(greater Nashville
area) headquarters.
This individual will be responsible for resolving escalated service
issues, coaching other engineers to resolutions, engineering and
implementing complex projects, and for maintaining and overseeing
their assigned technology pillars.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
or related field or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years as a system engineer or equivalent role We have a
preference for:
- Experience supporting and administering containers and
orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience supporting and administering infrastructure and
development tools in Azure/Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages common to Devops and Cloud
platforms such as Bash, Python, and Powershell The Senior System
Engineer's key responsibilities are:
- Evaluate, maintain, and modify established 'best practices' for
infrastructure maintenance and asset management
- Create and maintain custom scripts to increase system
efficiency and lower the human intervention time on manual
tasks
- Create and maintain consistent documentation for system
configurations, installation and administration procedures
- Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop
steps to oversee timely execution and successful
implementation
- Implement and utilize configuration automation tools such as
Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and SaltStack
- Interact regularly with architects to identify, build, and
implement automation to drive greater efficiencies and
standards
- Implement and utilize IaC tools such as Terraform and Azure
resource manager to consistently provision resources
- Deploy, configure, manage and maintain system monitoring tools
such as Solarwinds, Nagios/Icinga, and Prometheus
- Mentor and train other engineers and seek to continually
improve IT processes Qualifications
