Job Description:
- POSITION SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to
safely drive Cameron Ashley Products flatbed trucks and
curtain-side -trailers to efficiently and accurately deliver
products to customers. Local CDL Drivers must exhibit a courteous
-and professional attitude to our customers at all times. - WHAT WE
OFFER Pay is $20-$25/Hour plus OT Local - HOME DAILY! Medical,

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Willing and able to work safely at all times
Must satisfy all DOT requirements Perform daily pre and post trip
inspections of truck to ensure safety and compliance with
regulatory requirements Ensure that material loaded for delivery
matches shipping documents and that the products are in good
condition Ability to load and unload materials up to 50 lbs. Able
to lift up to 50 lbs. Ensure proper weight distribution of
materials for DOT compliance Properly and safely secure material in
the truck to ensure no damage in transit Maintain and update
electronic logbook, trip reports, and on-board computer as required
to ensure they are up-to-date at all times Manage proof of delivery
paperwork from customers Communicate any problems upon delivery to
the branch immediately Communicate and interact with customers in a
courteous and professional manner Develop and maintain a working
knowledge of products and inventory Understand and observe all
safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self
or coworkers Attend periodic safety meetings as required - MAY ALSO
INCLUDE CDL Drivers may also work in the warehouse as needed Safe
and timely loading and unloading of trucks for delivery Forklift
experience and certification Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly
and safe manner - QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Valid Class A
Commercial Driver's license Safe Driving Record Knowledge of safety
procedures while performing driving and materials handling tasks
Ability to read and understand maps, routes, road signs Excellent
customer service skills Good verbal communication skills Be able to
pass a DOT medical examination and drug screen PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years driving, delivery and/or warehouse
experience, preferably in the building materials industry - Call
