This 36 bed unit is less than a year old and is already growing!! It is designed for patients staying less than 24 hours but require observation or testing prior to release or transfer into another department. Here, our surgical units work together as a team and care for each other as a family. Our PCTs will work closely with our nurses to ensure that our patients are able to discharge safely and heal quickly - -Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is the leading healthcare provider in Rutherford County and we continue to grow our services in order to meet the healthcare needs of our community. What You Will Do: Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
      • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
      • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
      • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document -necessary records. -
      • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
        • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or -job transfer date required. -
        • Nurse Aide credential preferred.Education:
          • High school diploma or GED required. Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
