Check out our careers page: http://www.leecompany.com/careers/ Summary of Job: To focus on the commercial, industrial, government, and healthcare market and foster opportunities to bid and secure sales (electrical focused) for the organization by establishing and maintaining relationships with owners, contractors, and others in the commercial industry and supporting all company groups (construction. engineering. sales. technical services. etc) to assure the services provided by the organization are aligned with the client needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to) Manage the promotion and direction of the sales activities among customers or prospects in the market Develop sales goals Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, and price schedules Develop targeted sales campaigns Forecast anticipated market sales Build relationships with key decision-makers Seek out, target, and initiate contact with major prospective customers Develop a network of contacts Qualify and assess targeted accounts Present information and solutions based on customer requirements and to meet their business objectives Develop and prepare project budgets and monitor the execution of projects for profitability Collaborate with internal company groups to continually appraise service offerings, capabilities, and capacity for growth of the market and business development strategies Actively participate in market-focused associations within the regional market to create sales channels that result in additional business opportunities Perform continuous market research and develop a strategic growth plan for the market Handle stress and job demands Cooperatively work with others Education and Experience: Bachelor degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field 5 or more years of experience in securing large, commercial construction or commercial service business deals Knowledge of Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical (MP&E) Systems Strong and demonstrable record of creating lasting relationships that have led to secured business A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel and Word, and the ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills Customer-service driven, internally and externally Good management skills with servant-leadership approach Professional and confident demeanor Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to seek out and identify new business opportunities Ability to initiate communication with ---C--- level decision-makers to assess their needs and sell Lee Company---s portfolio of products or services Ability to utilize sales tools to plan and document progress as well as develop strategies to increase business opportunities in respective market Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective team-building skills Ability to clearly convey messaging that will impact and influence Ability and willingness to demonstrate ethical behavior and a high level of integrity Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The physical activities described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
