POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for managing the planning of work and the Reliability Program through our CMMS system along with our maintenance process and other duties. This role is highly collaborative and requires a high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVESManage the maintenance shop inventory at optimum levels, including ordering parts, stocking parts, cycle counting, and running/analyzing reports for inventory management in CMMS Interact with personnel in all departments to support their requirements for parts, materials, supplies, and services Schedule and monitor Preventive Maintenance Programs Partner with Environmental Health & Safety to ensure all safety equipment stored in the maintenance shop is inventoried and tracked when issued Work with vendors to identify and purchase equipment parts and identify alternate suppliers to create value for the organization through better pricing, availability, and technology Generate and provide weekly reports as requested Interpret and apply policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person Process and complete work orders & forward to accounting department daily Assist with audits, fact checking, and resolving discrepancies Attend and participate in internal meetings and complete required training Performs other related duties as assigned by management BENEFITSQSEHRA Reimbursement Paid Holidays PTO Program Retirement Plan Professional Training & Development Opportunities COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITYAs an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Harmon Scrap Metal recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business. Requirements:
KEY COMPETENCIESHeavy to light manufacturing maintenance experience Knowledge and experience with implementing Equipment Reliability Best Practices and Procedures Centralized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Be energetic, disciplined, and focused on relationship-building with internal and external partners Can quickly adapt to, be accepted by, and interrelate with the organization at all levels Maintains a high level of output and quality of work Professional manner and strong ethical code Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills Highly proficient with computers EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School graduate or equivalent Experience with Maintenance Work Planning Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting experience, preferred Experience working with team members across multiple levels PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds Frequently climb up and down ladders; crouch and bend at the knee; stoop or bend at the waist; reach arms overhead; and twist and turn at the neck and trunk Work environment involves frequent and/or regular exposure to natural and unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises Ability to spend prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer PI201922041
