CoreCivic is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst located at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN. - Come join a team that is dedicated to making an impact for the people and communities we serve. The Business Systems Analyst provides project and business expertise, including user training, for CoreCivic's core operational systems. - Aids in the integration between various software systems, including Offender Management System, COATS, and Allscripts Electronic Health Record.

• Assists with the deployment of computers and devices designed for the training classrooms, facility infrastructure, and equipment setup.
• Runs facilitated sessions to gather key requirements, perform testing, and analyze gaps between requirements and current software capabilities.
• Works with IT development team to test and analyze future business needs.
• Assists with workflow redesign and implementation testing efforts.
• Establishes relationships with key facility super users and provides user support at the facility through the implementation phase. -
• Assists with the transition to the technical support contacts at the conclusion of the deployment.
• Notifies the Team Lead of conflicts or situations that could adversely affect system implementation and use.
• Follows the CoreCivic program management methodology and works collaboratively with all team members.
• Manages problem and request tickets for assigned technology.
• Ensures all support is provided in the context of assisting application users to succeed in their business goals.
• Domestic U.S. travel is required.Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other acceptable related field is required. -
    
  • Experience in a corrections environment may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. -
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. -
  • Frequent travel and work in the company's facilities required. -
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of
    age.
