Over the last decade, Hood Container Corporation has grown to become one of the top ten Paper and Packaging Companies in the United States.At Hood Container Corporation - Lebanon, we are looking for Maintenance Technicians (two) to join our 2nd Shift team. Second shift working hours are: 2:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. When business volume increases it can create a need for overtime - when that happens, the crew will add two hours per night (working until 1:00 a.m.) Monday through Thursday and work eight hours on Friday. When absolutely necessary, we work eight hours on Saturday.The Maintenance Technicians will maintain several types of corrugated converting machines, including:Flexo Folder GluerRotary Die CutterFlat Bed Die CutterSpecialty Folder Gluer and/orLitho Laminator Each machine converts corrugated board (cardboard) into boxes or more intricate retail displays. How You Will Contribute:Work with a team to maintain our complex machinery in the best possible working condition.Must be team-oriented, organized, detailed, and able to perform physical activities.Experience with machine maintenance safety guidelines.Must be willing to work over-time and Saturdays when required.What it Takes:Basic electrical: replace/repair damaged power cords, plugs and receptacles; replace breakers and fuses; replace portable fan motors and capacitors; training on 12 VDC, 24 VDC, 36 & 48 VDC, 110 VAC, 240 VAC and 480 VAC.Assist on machine break down calls.Use power tools to cut wood and steel for build projects around the plant.Train on (MIG) welding for projects and repair jobs.Train on aluminum welding with spool gun for projects and repair jobs.Rebuild hydraulic cylinders.Pack and replace assorted bearings.As opportunities allow, learn from more skilled Maintenance Technicians with the goal of increasing your skills, knowledge, and abilities in the Maintenance field.
