Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse - Regional Float Pool - Part-Time - Night Shifts The Registered Nurse in our Regional Float Pool delivers specialized nursing services across various facilities within the Southeast region, primarily catering to adult and elderly patients. This part-time night position demands clinical proficiency in multiple areas, including Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, and Labor & Delivery. The Registered Nurse will apply theoretical knowledge to make informed decisions in practice, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating tailored nursing care in line with established nursing standards for adult and geriatric patients. The selected candidate will be required to report to facilities within the regional area of their home hospital. The specific facilities will be determined during the hiring process with input from the leadership team. Preferred Education: BSN Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements. Required Experience: At least one year of recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience is required. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic Certifications (Required to Start): For Med/Surg and Behavioral Health - BLS For Women's Health - BLS & NRP For Critical Care - BLS, ACLS For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, & PALS Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift; significant bending, stooping, and lifting of patients with assistance; ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
