Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities: Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility. Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and transportation to appointments. Provide companionship , emotional support, and social engagement. Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to supervisors or family members as appropriate. Follow care plans, medication reminders, and safety protocols. Assist with transfers, use of assistive devices, and fall-prevention measures. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, tasks completed, and any observations. Uphold client privacy, dignity, and all agency policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Previous professional caregiving experience preferred CNA certification a bonus but not required Ability to safely assist with mobility and personal care tasks. Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if transportation is part of the role). Ability to pass background checks and meet health requirements (TB test, physical, etc.).
