Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Community-Based Mental Health Clinician (CCS) – (master’s level) Fitchburg, WI | Full-Time About Step Time, Inc. Who This Role Is For This role is ideal for a clinician who: Is highly organized and self-managed Can independently manage a caseload Values clear expectations and structured supervision Is comfortable working in community-based settings Wants long-term professional stability Key Responsibilities Maintain a minimum of 32.5 billable hours per week Complete documentation (progress notes) within 24–48 hours of service Attend required weekly meetings and supervision Manage caseload growth toward 12–18 consumers Maintain compliance with CCS and Medicaid standards Conduct assessments and assessment summaries Develop recovery plans Coordinate services and community referrals Facilitate Recovery Team Meetings Collaborate with external providers and agencies Participate in required CCS training and continuing education Complete the CCS provider orientation checklist training within the first two weeks of employment Provide culturally competent, inclusive, trauma-informed services in alignment with state and federal standards Education & Licensure Required: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or related field Meet Dane County CCS program requirements for Service Facilitator eligibility Valid Wisconsin driver’s license Access to reliable transportation and valid/current automobile insurance Ability to pass criminal and DOJ background checks Ability to perform community-based work, including driving, field visits, and standard office tasks Preferred: APSW, CAPSW, LCSW, LPC-IT, LPC, LMFT Experience in community mental health or case management SUD Licensing through Department of Safety and Professional Services (SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC) Work Environment Community-based work (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Office located in Fitchburg, WI Compensation & Benefits $15/hour during the initial two-week training period $27.50/hour upon successful completion of training (40 hr per week) Minimum 32.5 billable expectation weekly (once a caseload of 8 is reached) Performance-based flex incentive available for exceeding 35 billable hours weekly Structured onboarding Paid holidays and PTO include: (vacation, sick, and personal time) Professional development support, weekly supervision for licensure requirements, and paid collaborative weekly team meetings Application Instructions: Please apply with your cover letter, resume, and 3 professional references (supervisors and/or co-workers, which include (phone numbers and emails).
