Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated PACU Nurse to join
our post-anesthesia care unit focusing on Women’s and Children’s
health. In our state-of-the-art facility, you will be instrumental
in providing compassionate and efficient care to patients
recovering from anesthesia. As a member of our team, you will have
the opportunity to work with top-tier professionals in pediatric
and obstetric care and contribute significantly to patient recovery
and wellness. Monitor patients’ post-operative condition, assess
levels of consciousness, and measure vital signs to ensure proper
recovery from anesthesia. Collaborate with anesthesiologists,
surgeons, and other medical professionals to discuss treatment
plans and patient progress. Provide pain management and other
necessary medical interventions as prescribed by the healthcare
team. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery home care
requirements, complications, and symptom management. Ensure the
comfort and safety of all patients, adjusting medical care plans as
needed. Proficient in patient assessment Strong knowledge of pain
management techniques Ability to multitask and prioritize in a
fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Tennessee or compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred.
