DevOps Engineer SME The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for a seasoned DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a lead DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll oversee a team of cloud architects and engineers as they manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills and experience within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions. You Have: 6 years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity 2 years of experience with Splunk Experience with Linux based environment administration Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree or 10 years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience with SQL based platforms and Python Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks TS/SCI clearance Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
